Exceptionally handsome Edwardian Wardrobe in Medium Oak with bevelled mirror doors on either side. These doors each conceal a full length hanging space with a rail and a hat shelf above. The centre section is comprised of a spacious linen cupboard with 2 doors, which are panelled and decoratively carved, above a bank of 5 drawers lined in solid oak. There is also a shelf to hold trinkets and grooming aids situated between the cupboard and the drawers. This shelf has decorative fringework and a turned spindle column in the centre plus a bevelled mirror back.
The entire front of the wardrobe apart from the mirrors, is veneered in beautiful pollard oak to give an unusual and very attractive burred finish. The mirror doors are hinged to face one another when open in order to give full length views of the front and the back of the person viewing. All original brass drop handles and locks with keys. Just a couple small marks of use, as is to be expected on a piece of furniture of this age.
