A fine example of a Victorian Rosewood 3 tier Canterbury which has turned legs & brass castors. The bottom tier serves as a sheet music rack. While beneath this an unobtrusive drawer plus 2 upper tiers would be used for display.
Detailed fretwork pillars support these tiers, also the top tier benefits from a fretwork gallery with turned bobbles.
As is common with fine furniture of this age, the piece bears a few marks of the passage of time. Finally there is a small chip out of the veneer at the rear corner of the top tier (as pictured).
